Nick Blake
Nick Blake is a London-based director and has worked for clients such as AMV BBDO, Guinness, FedEx, BT Sport, Walkers/Lays, Pepsi, Hewlett Packard, The National Lottery, The Economist and Mars.
His career started in film production, learning the ropes on big scale features and TV drama. He even worked on projects by directors including Ridley Scott, Kevin MacDonald and Richard Curtis. From there, he moved into directing melodramatic promos for Random House Publishing Group and delivered work for authors such as Terry Pratchett.
In the branded world, he has worked with top sporting talent, including Gareth Bale, Alexis Sanchez and Sergio Aguero and film actors, like David Tennant and Sophie Okonedo.
Blake has directed lavish food films for Guinness, hidden-camera films for the National Lottery and worked for The Economist on its “Right to Die” campaign won, and subsequently a Gold at the Creative Circle awards in 2016.
